How do I install the Kontakt format sample library I've just purchased from your website?
How do I load my purchased sample library in Kontakt?
Once you are ready to use our library in Kontakt, you will need to browse to it from the 'Files' menu of the left-hand browser section of the Kontakt user interface. Simply drag the NKI (instrument file) from the files browser on the left into the main window on the right. For faster loading/navigation, we recommend dragging the library to either the 'Quickload' window in Kontakt, or add it to the 'Database' section of the left-hand browser section (see the Kontakt reference manual for more info on using these features to quickly navigate to your instruments).

Why am I unable to 'Add' my library to Kontakt or Native Access?
Since our libraries are not specially coded by Native Instruments for use with their free 'Kontakt Player' technology, our libraries cannot be added to the 'Libraries' tab of the Kontakt left-hand browser. Please see the FAQ above for instructions on loading our instruments.
Why is the library giving me a 'Demo' warning when I load it in Kontakt?
Please be aware that you MUST have a FULL version of Kontakt to use our products. The free 'Kontakt Player' will not work with our libraries without a demo limitation. Kontakt is available from Native Instruments either as a standalone product or as part of the full Komplete or Komplete Ultimate packages (not the Komplete Elements or Selection packages). If you are unsure which version of Kontakt you have, please consult with Native Instruments support.
Do you offer refunds?
Please note that all sales are final. Due to the nature of our products, once downloaded, we cannot accept a return or give a refund for the purchase. For these reasons we STRONGLY urge all prospective buyers to carefully adhere to the system requirements listed for each product and to watch/listen to the demos and videos available before purchasing in order to best inform your purchase. We also make the user manual available for most products on their respective product page which contains detailed information on the product, patch lists, etc.
Can I sell my purchased product secondhand?
We do not allow secondhand license transfer to other individuals. By purchasing a Hidden Path Audio product you are agreeing to a single end user license for only one user which is non-transferable.
Do you offer academic discounts?
Yes! We do offer a 50% discount off the base price of our products (sale prices do not apply) for students and instructors. Please contact us directly at the email address below for details and include a scan/photo of your school ID and a current proof of enrollment, or teaching credential if you are an instructor.
